It’s funny kosmo you keep carping about Facebook - which has its problems-but as far as the wacko factor I find Twitter is ten times worse!!

yes but i have a bit of a bubble on twitter as well.. i follow primarily music types and punch myself in the nuts every time i read the comments on certain posts.

I get that but it’s way easier to create a bubble on Facebook

I mean people mainly use Facebook to share pics of their cute kids or their great dad or stuff like that..to show off about their lives

And unless you have republican friend it’s not like one is bombarded with this wackiness..it’s more like an echo chamber

Twitter is incredibly more toxic..

Brilliant stuff here in this thread

COVID Update June 25: The story of Trump & Coronavirus has already been written.

But the stories of DeSantis, Abbott & Ducey could be a Shakespeare play. 1/

We are rocking it today! 36,600 new cases..still time to go..can we hit our record from April? 39,000

I don’t think so

Thank you red states! 9 out of top 10 in new cases..not like you had any warning other than those damn NYC libtards

Waddap Cali? Why?

Despite its liberal rep, California has millions of rednecks in hundreds of small towns. After all, they've had several Republican governors over the last several decades, started tax cut fever in the 70s, and is home to many defense contractors.

Ok meant to write this earlier:

Almost half the cases in California- close to 100,000 are in Los Angeles County

So, why? After all they have been pretty aggressive from Newsom to the Mayor Garcetti..,, Did people just say fuck it and start partying or what?

there is a lot of disadvantage and poverty in LA county: folks living packed together in small spaces, working "essential" jobs like grocery and janitorial that put them in contact with the public.  social distancing isn't an option.

We were supposed to be in LA this week before heading on to the Central Coast and then Yosemite. So glad we're not. Maybe next year.

And it’s not looking like the heat is stopping this

Remains to be seen if it has the same virulence

Based on Arizona looking like it does..

I think it's young people taking Bill Maher's advice. More cases but lower death rate in the next couple of months. I'm still not spending any time indoors other than the weekly grocery store visit at 7am.

Is that a joke? Young people watching Bill Maher?

Are you trying to reference something? Like me saying what he said is idiotic (which it was...very..notice Texas and Florida closing down bars post haste)

I get the whole younger people don’t die angle but have no faith in people’s ability to not pass it on until it hits vulnerable people..young Latinos in East Los Angeles don’t get together with their grandparents? Not all old people are at Sunrise or retirement communities of South Florida!

I mean I don’t know.
