Hey, Soul Sistahs.

I just looked at the ticket avails for Train tonight in Baltimore at Pier6. It looks like they have sold maybe 200 tickets. Yikes.

They should really invite everyone down to fill in the first 15 rows.

i think 200 is low-balling it, looks about a third full (so around 900?), but yeah - clearly less demand than they had planned.  wonder how many are staying away because of covid...

pretty sure that's going to happen anyways, even if uninvited.

nice...and face value.  Two sets in fact, a 2 seat and 4 seat

also GA pit available too
temping as it may be and I like both the bands, not tempting enough to make it to MPP...even on a Friday...but your mileage may varry

TBH..pretty poorly sold for Wilco.  Don't they ususally sell out the seats and the pit.  looks like only 60% of the seats and can't tell on the lawn/Pit how many are left

I agree...but this show went on sale a while ago when people were buying up tix

Still thought on a Friday night at an outdoor venue like MPP would be a little more packed

they are bands that target audience is around 50, so more on the high risk spectrum
unlike the typical Lollapalooza attendee

I mean you know they sold out a seated anthem?

I think there were some SRO tickets…

So 3400 tickets max?

Obviously they are not going to move that many tickets

I don’t think they have to in order for them or the promoter  to make a tidy sum

I am out of town or this would be a slam dunk..I would be in the pit

I guess I am different but I enjoy the drive which is a part of the pregame..with the right friend(s) it can be fun driving up there.. and on the way back you talk about the show and bask in the afterglow..done it dozens of times
