I went to Aldi, yesterday,  and bought 4 bags of French fries.

I'm doing,  my part.  Fuck, coronavirus.

We, fellow boardies, are thought leaders for the new generation:

VLAM's new campaign aims to spur young people to eat potatoes

Potatoes remain the main meal filler in Flanders. But its consumption is declining, especially among the younger generation. VLAM wants to ignite future generations' passion for fresh potatoes. They want to ensure this tuber remains on Flemish families' plates. The campaign is, therefore, targetting independent millennials (18-34 year-olds).

The 'Potatoes - Prepare to be surprised - Europe's favorite since 1536' campaign wants to inspire youngsters. It wants to want them to work with potatoes. Various, custom-made activities have been planned to achieve this.

The younger generation spends a lot of time online. The campaign will, therefore, be run there. Together, the partners have contributed 100 modern recipes and 40 cooking videos. These prove it is not time-consuming or difficult to prepare potatoes. They show you can make tasty, hip dishes with this ingredient.

THIS IS HAPPENING PEOPLE. WE HAVE GONE LIVE!

The sweet potato remains the tuber of choice for Julian's America, reports The Packer:

Income and age continue to define sweet potato purchases. The likelihood of a purchase increased according to income for the eleventh straight year, with shoppers in the top income bracket being among the most likely to buy sweet potatoes overall.

Ivan Rakitic: Barcelona midfielder insists he’s 'not a sack of potatoes'

"I had a very strange first half of the season, it was very uncomfortable and surprising for me. But I hope I can finish this last year of my contract," he said, nervously eyeing the boiling pot of water just past mid-field.

why you gotta be a potato racist, dude?  can't we all just unite around the word potato, and not worry about sugar content?  let's not look at what's on the inside, let's focus on the external descriptors.

I made potato salad yesterday FTFT. Took one bag of small redskin potatoes. Cut them into smaller chunks. Boiled them until they were fork splitable. Cooled them for awhile. Mixed them up in a mixing bowl with some finely chopped raw yellow onion, a little mayo, brown mustard, salt, pepper, and celery seed. Turned out just right. Had again with lunch today.
