Correct me of I am wrong, but wasn't she asked to consider retirement when Obama was president? She would have been 80 at the time.

Shame the way this played out.  We are gonna get s c r e w e d.

I just think they have the votes

They only need 50 plus VP to break tie

They have 53

Even if Murkowski follows through and doesn’t vote to confirm they still have two extra votes

Apparently there are other possible republican defectors on the issue, but Romney is one of them and we shall see...

Also kaine is on the record that given the chance Dems could up the number of justices to 11 and pack the court.. I’ve seen this floated several times

And yes I’m doomscrolling on a Friday night having just watched Moonstruck with some friends in a private screening in a movie theater

Well I saw it coming years ago

Never will understand why she didn’t retire when Obama was president and don’t give me the everyone thought Hillary would win bull..you can go look on real clear politics and see the election was not that much of a blowout..Biden is doing better than she was

RBG would have not even needed to see who nominee was before retiring

You don’t set your retirement in July of an election year

For a two time cancer survivor 80+ years old not to retire is pretty insane

Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney have committed to not confirming a supreme court nominee until after Inauguration Day

Mitch just announced hours after death, there will be a vote on the senate floor and they will confirm before election.

First shot . . . of our future, fired.  Edmund Ruffin, 2020 style.
