There are 30 working days
Of course Mitch could use weekends?
But assuming not...some senators are campaigning for re-election, have debates etc
Obviously confirmation can’t start Monday
So 29 days or less in the middle of a very contentious general election

Including today, only 13 working Senate days before the election.

in today's chronicles of the over-educated: "pidgen" is an incorrect spelling of "pigeon", the bird.  but "pidgen" is also a simplified, deformed version of a language, AKA patois, creole, etc.  if you look at grassley's writing, it's pretty horrific. so when hatch asked "What was up with those pidgin tweets from grassley" i thought he was being snarky about the poor grammar and syntax... my bad.

I found a Bible in an antique shop that was written in “pidgen English” once and it was a thoroughly enjoyable purchase and flip thru. Jesus was repeatedly referred to as DAT DER BIG MAN or something equally humorous to regular English speakers.

I don’t think so... this is what they want...have always wanted...once they saw they had cover (“everybody else is doing it”) it became easier to go along

I mean they may loathe Trump but a 6-3 conservative court is a dream come true for them! They know what it means...

dems take over all 3 branches.  dems impeach a few conservative judges for any reason they can, remove and replace until a liberal balance is achieved.  dems ignore cries of "tyranny!!!" from the GOP, because dems have finally had enough and are going to play hardball too.

^ dems the type of fantasies that keep me sane.

Democrats would never do that..it really is fantasy...Democrats will never pack the court etc...can you imagine getting 50 democrats to agree to that in senate...manchin? Please

Our strategy of hoping 10% of Republican Senators were decent has failed

And we have nothing left but to whine and complain
