dunno, merrick has been a tad disappointing so far.  i mean, his focus is correct - the insurrection, domestic terrorism, election security, etc. - but he sure as hell isn't as satisfying as, say, vance.

you know everyone who won't be vaxxed because of the microchip to used for gov tracking, those who decry mask mandates because FREEDOM, etc etc. won't have any issue at all with this little overreach being attempted in PA... because you know their guy lost...

"Pennsylvania Republicans voted Wednesday to subpoena Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration for detailed records of every registered voter in the state, including personal information like the last four digits of their Social Security numbers."

what could possibly going wrong handing over this data to a third party for analysis  ::)

as usual fetterman is on point and must be on a most excellent group chat...

Finally, to be clear:  this is the SAME ELECTION that delivered + increased the PAGOP’s controlling margins in *both* the PA House + Senate, 2 of the 3 statewide row offices + retained every congressional seat.

ok...this is a weird stance...but anyone wearing Trump/MAGA clothing on saturday will be shot on site*

It has been organized by a former Trump campaign aide, Matt Braynard, but he has asked that attendees not wear pro-Trump clothing or carry Trump signs. Anyone not honoring that request, he tweeted on Tuesday, “will be assumed to be an infiltrator.”

Conspiracy theories from Republicans that the “justice for J6” rally is actually a FBI plot to round up Trump supporters to send them to the gulag has severely hindered expected attendance.

the Arizona "auditors" aka Cyber Ninjas, who reviewed the presidential ballots in Maricopa County at the behest of the GOP state senate, will publish their findings today (Friday).  a leaked draft shows that they found no fraud and will re-re-re-confirm Biden's victory (their margin of victory is actually a tad higher than the official count!).

i strongly considered posting this in the Schadenfreude thread... but didn't because tax payers will need to shell out millions to replace all the electronic voting machines that the "auditors" ruined in the course of this idiotic piece of political theater.  and, you know, the general hit that democracy took thanks to these shenanigans.

this has to be a body blow to trumpworld.
