well, if you go in expecting dancefloor bangers, then yeah, it'll be awful.  but if you happen to like classical and/or ballet music?

Then why wouldn’t you just listen to people who do that for a living

Perhaps this is just a genre I listen to more than most, but there is wild overlap between "people who compose modern classical music" and "people who make something closer to EDM".I don't know whether this is going to be good or not but just because Daft Punk was Daft Punk sounding doesn't lead me to believe one of their dudes cannot write a decent modern classical piece.

I think if someone was open to their work on the Tron reboot soundtrack and enjoyed it they might enjoy this….

Anyone expecting “One more time”….well…that ship sailed decades ago

Either way, am glad he is still making music

judge for yourself: Mythologies: X. L'Accouchement

less "classical" and more "cinematic", imo.  would be great with some visuals, but on its own it doesn't do much for me.

Couple new ones of interest...

Brooke Combe
Black Is The New Gold
Modern Sky
April 21

Been following Brooke for awhile now and they have pulled together all the tracks released on streaming so far for this one.  Great voice and solid rock/soul tracks produced by James Skelly.  Hopefully this one lands on Bandcamp, as the shipping from one UK site for just the CD was almost as much as the CD.

I did not need to think about an 82 year old Smokey Robinson's gasms.
