Unaware of this thread, my wife announced at dinner that she had a terrible song in her head and asked us to guess it.I guessed We Didn't Started thr Fire.My daughter guessed Baby Shark.And apparently my mind-reading kid was right.
I'd argue that Billy Joel has written far, far worse songs than "You May Be Right". Is it an abomination? I'd argue that "We Didn't Start The Fire" or "The Longest Time" are atrocities that should be banished into a black hole. Anything remotely awful that I abhor (pretty much anything from the "Cocktail" soundtrack, Starship, etc.) that I accidentally hear usually means my brain gets a cleanse with "Bazooka Joe" by Big Black, "Nervous Breakdown" by Black Flag or "Green Light" by Sonic Youth.

It Takes Two-Rob BaseI hated this song when it was popular. It has never grown on me.Note: The only time you will have hear this song is at a Wizards game.
