Is he 18 yet?  I think he'll have to wait until the summer transfer window.

And yes he should go to England, and no it shouldn't be to a big 4, although it will be a big 4 team that signs him, and they'll put him on loan like the other US players that are on Big 4 Rosters (Spector, Howard, Rossi).

Perhaps Bobby Convey can show him the way here.  His career has certainly blossomed since he decided to play for Reading.  He should not talk to that little pusst Landon Donavon however, who couldn't cut it in Germany so he left.  Three times. [/b]
so does freddy win the award for most overhyped sports prodigy ever? I mean, seriously, its not like he set a mediocre league like MLS on fire over the past few years.....when Wayne Rooney and Norman Whiteside were his age they were doing much much more....I think it was basicalyl a marketing ploy by MLS - I'll be very interested to see how good a player he actually turns out to be

I'll settle for 1-1 v chelsea.....we had the better chances overall but there was a 25 minute period in the seocnd half where chelsea looked very impressive

and ronaldinho's  goal this weekend was sick.....an all time classic

I was just watching the goal in You Tube. Spectacular.

I watched the Manchester United - Chelsea. One thing I like about Manchester is that Scholes and Giggs are still playing very well. Really liked these two players. I think Manchester United will win the premiership this year.

That goal is ridiculous.

As for United, definitely a tale of two halves.  United failed to put them away a couple times in the first half and twice to start the second, then the class football of Chelsea came out (why was Joe Cole on the bench for so long?), and United weathered an amazing storm.  Both teams should be happy with a point, and feel they could have had three.

And giggsy's turn around the last two seasons has been amazing.  The press had him left for dead 3 years ago, but now I'm quite certain he's the best player on the pitch for United week in and week out.

No, at the time Xavi kicked the ball to pass it to Ronaldinho, there was a Villareal player between Ronaldinho and the goalkeeper.

I strongly encourage to see next Tuesday's Barcelona Werder Bremen for the last spot in the group for the round of 16 of the Champions League. Should be a great game and I am scared to death. The Oporto - Arsenal and Manchester United - Benfica games will be great as well.

Before we get to next week, most premiereship teams have two league games first.  But of course, the last match day of the champions league should be a national holiday!
