Safe to assume you were referring to Shearer and not Given here?  Given wasn't given a medal in 1994. [/b]
yeah. i mean get yer zongs right

i figured things werent so bad at manu that you guys had to go to the 'youve won fuck all' well so early in the season. maybe im wrong and should have picked chelsea

so is the berbatov transfer totally off then? [/b]
Actually, we could've used the same 'you've won fuck all' for chelskzzzzz, couldn't we?

As for berbatov - don't know, don't care. United will have a new striker by sep 1st though, just not sure who.

Only if you think the Arshavin and Payulchenko deals are done, and I don't think they are.  Spurs cannot do those deals with United's cash.

Come on Juventus and Zenit, between the two of you the Champions League could get rid of Real Madrid by December.

Well, the Pavlyuchenko deal is almost done (despite him being cup tied...) and both Spurs and United are in Monacco for the UEFA/Champions draw so it likely that they will meet to discuss Berbatov.  Zenit's cheif is also in Monacco...I'm not as convinced as you are as I don't see Spurs letting Berbativ rot in the reserves.
