Can we talk about Arsenal playing 11 of their first 15 matches in London, for just a second?

That's simply ridiculous and is a large part of why they're top of the table.

OK - but of those 11 matches, only one was on the road (at Tottenham).  The rest were at Emirates Stadium.

but i agree, that's too many home games. however, newcastle has yet to play a big 4 team outside of the league cup, so i'm not complaining   ;)

SPOILER ALERT (will contain Tottenham Score)

Tottenham Hotspur's 2-1 defeat at home to Getafe in the UEFA Cup proved to be Martin Jol's last game in charge at White Hart Lane after he tendered his resignation ahead of the game. Reports first suggested the embattled Dutchman has been sacked by an increasingly dissatisfied Spurs board, but reports suggest Jol jumped before he was pushed.

He was the guy Chelsea were rumored to be after.  I can't see Tottenham out spending Chelsea to buy Sevilla's allegiance.

Ramos is in - I think Ireland should at least strongly consider Jol for their now vacant job as well - I'm a big Jol fan

Admittedly, since Becks came to America, Smackette has spared me from watching La Liga and I didn't realize they were struggling in Spain.
