Sevilla is still struggling after the death of Puerta at the end of August. They should be back in the top positions by Christmas, but who knows these teams sometimes can't seem to be able to deal with the expectations raised by the fans after a good season. However, they pretty much are in the next phase of the Champions League, so it would be surprising if Ramos left now.

As for games in Spain, besides the Madrid Barcelona, you should always pay attention to the Valencia Barcelona, always crazy games. The Valencia Madrid and the games of the two big with Sevilla should be fun to watch. There are other very decent teams that in England could be in the top 5 or 6 such as Atletico Madrid, Zaragoza or Villareal (by the way Robert Pires is playing really well this season).

By the way, I have always liked Totenham, my team in London.

I don't post replay times, but Setanta replays every match later in the day if it's better suited for your DVR.  FSC replays are not always on the same day, but some are.

Well, I might start watching the FSC game no matter who's playing next time.  Setanta has taken it upon themselves to update the rest of the Premiership every 4 minutes during their morning match.  They even update the matches they're going to show later in the day.  Ruined my whole afternoon.

Scholes Out 3 Months

Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes will have a knee operation on Thursday and is expected to be out of action for three months. The 32-year-old reported the injury during training prior his side's Champions League win over Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

We just get Hargreaves back and down goes Scholes!! oh the frustration. I think we have much stronger strength in depth this season so should be okay. We need to get shot of that Lladro figurine Saha. My God, he's broken more times than the new S class Benz. Maybe toon will take him, they seem to go for defective strikers!!!!

Great.  Now I have to decide if I want to be divorced before I go to the World Cup in Brazil, or just wait until I return home and tell her how much fun I had...

Brazil to host 2014 World Cup
 Associated Press

ZURICH, Switzerland -- Brazil was chosen host of the 2014 World Cup on Tuesday, returning the showcase event to the soccer-mad country that held the tournament in 1950 and has captured the title a record five times.

Brazil was the only candidate and won in a unanimous vote by the executive committee of the sport's governing body.

So nobody else even bid for it in 2014?

Do you think the home nation will be favourites?

When a country that size only plays one fucking sport they better be good at it.

Oh it would be sweet if someone other than Brasil won it in 2014.
