Reading the Pogues book where Elvis Costello figures so prominently peaked my interest in him and I am finally tackling his huge autobiography after years of it sitting in a pile of music books... so far it’s great which is surprising as I had heard it sucks..but we shall see

Well I am enjoying it ..reading about music is the next best thing to listening
The first chapter was all about PIL...now it’s about the Pop Group and the Slits

My interest in that would certainly depend on the bands being discussed. What little I’ve heard about the book indicates it’s a detailed read but I may not care about a good number of the bands. Do check back when you’re done.

I reread the Neil bio Shakey... maybe best rock and roll bio? The section covering the 70s is amazing
Currently reading Gore Vidal’s Kalki
I have to finish and return to a friend cause it’s about ten months since I borrowed it

Reading the first volume of Mark Twain’s autobiography...

This is very good so far. I'm of course doing the audiobook where Flea does the narration and his delivery seals the deal
I think I like this more than Scar Tissue

This one also age appropriate
I've heard young adults are still reading this too
I know I read this when I was a little younger...but still fits the bill
