i saw them, not on purpose, play a tibetan freedom show back in, hell, i don't know what year.  the crowd was soooo irritating and the band was trying soooo hard.  Bleh!

I've seen them twice.  Once at the Tibetan Freedom Concert and another at a 9/11 benefit gig.  I thought they were great at both.

I'm sure he will stop by the time he's 75....but a 75 year old Bowie will still put on a better show than a 40 year old Beastie Boy.

Tickets are available through Tickets.com -- you can buy 2 per person-- they're not only available through HFS.

"All tickets are to be claimed at Will Call at the 9:30 Club [815 V Street, NW] the evening of the show. Bring your credit card and valid photo identification.
 The Box Office will open at 6:30pm, June 17th.
 
 These tickets are non-transferrable. The credit card holder must be present to pick up his/her tickets. There will be no handing off of purchased tickets to a second party. There will be no exceptions for any reason."

I recommend not posting anymore information on this or people will catch on to this 24 hours from now.  I have gotten into every rock show that has been hard to get into since 2000, and I plan not to let my streak go down the tube as well as my Title.

No price on Tickets.com either.  I can't go -- I'm kinda beside myself.....such is life.   It was actually better for me when it was impossible to get tickets.  : ( Hope everyone here who wants tix gets 'em.
