ixkpd-bk enjoy that Rem tribute! I would like to know what the feelies do, in hopes of having them repeat the songs on Saturday
Here was the setlist for the tribute:

Fink ? "The Apologist"
Keren Ann ? "Man On The Moon"
Calexico ? "Wendell Gee"
Rachael Yamagata ? "The Great Beyond"
Bob Mould ? "Sitting Still"
The Feelies ? "Carnival Of Sorts (Boxcars)"
Ingrid Michaelson ? "Nightswimming"
Glen Hansard ? "Hairshirt"
The Apples In Stereo ? "So. Central Rain"

Vic Chesnutt And Elf Power ? "Everybody Hurts"
Kristin Hersh And Throwing Muses ? "Perfect Circle"
Dar Williams ? "At My Most Beautiful"
Jolie Holland ? "(Don?t Go Back To) Rockville" (featuring Kyp Malone of TV On The Radio)
Darius Rucker (from Hootie and the Blowfish) ? "I Believe"
Patti Smith ? "New Test Leper"
R.E.M. ? "E-Bow The Letter" (featuring Patti Smith)
They did E-Bow, my favorite REM song, and owned it.
Highlights:
-Patti Smith doing "New Test Leper".
-Ingrid Michaelson doing "Nightswimming" (SUCH a surprise, she blew just about everyone away)
-Vic Chesnutt and Elf Power doing "Everybody Hurts"
-Apples in Stereo doing "So. Central Rain"
-Glen Hansard doing "Hairshirt" (TOTALLY random.)
Disappointments:
-Kimya. Fucking. Dawson. (Way to ruin one of my favs, bitch. NO one needed floor xylophonists or circus dancers or your gold diaper/globe dress.)
-Jolie Holland
-Marshall Crenshaw
-Keren Ann
Overall, the song choices were super random. A lot of fan favorites and album tracks were chosen over obvious singles, and I appreciated that. Some reinterpretations worked ("Nightswimming", "At My Most Beautiful", "Everybody Hurts"), and some just didn't ("Supernatural Superserious", "Man on the Moon"). Nobody should fuck with Man on the Moon, imho. But whatever.
