week's roll-call/recap:
tuesday: the roots @ the highline ballroom
amazing, amazing show.  people really need to check this one out if they're in NYC on a tuesday or wednesday night.  it starts late, so you could conceivably do another show.  this week they had henry butler join in for the first half of the show - kick-ass electric blues.  the band's horn section is ridiculous.  i've been to this show three times now, and every time i leave with a huge smile on my face.  and it's only $10!  GET ON THIS, PEOPLE.
wednesday: pet shop boys @ hammerstein
great show, although i slightly preferred the last tour.  PSB still bring the broadway fabu factor to their stage show: dancers, numerous costume changes, and a very creative set that is constantly changing and being used in creative ways.  this show was a little shorter than the previous one, 90 mins vs. 110-120'ish.  folks looking for some entetainment tonight could do worse than this show.  a noticed a few cheap tix on CL...
saturday: !!! @ BC, maybe.
