Trying my best to hit the Black Cat party tomorrow.  Haven't seen Dead Meadow in a few years...

I would recommend Datarock.  They were really good the last time they played dc, and a lot of fun. I have not heard their new album though...

Planned on ZZ. Feel like ass so it has to be nixed. :(
YLT, Moby and Weakerthans/RPC if I'm feeling up to it.

I was going to go  but I really needed to see Allen Toussaint in Silver Spring so I could not.. Toussaint was truly wonderful; I barely found out about the Toussaint..

I'll ask my friend who went.. I bet he filmed a lot of it actually...

Sorry you couldn't make it...

Actually I wouldn't mind finally seeing the Shirks at the Black Cat party... Al Budd who bartends there and works at record stores in the area is one cool dude and I'd like to see his band....

Thats right bitches, I'll be walking with dinosaurs on friday, with the 5-year-old in tow. He is wetting his pants in excitement over this show, and so am I.

Anyone go to Yo La Tengo last night? I really enjoyed it...though the two girls that got up on stage to dance reminded me of Elaine from Seinfeld trying to dance. A full body dry heave doesn't even begin to describe how bad and out of place they were. I appreciate the thrill of getting on a stage, trust me I've been there, but there a little something called the right time and place. Just awful.

Fun time though. And a special thanks to Thatguy and Eddie! You guys are the best.
