Like last year, a whole lot of you missed another stellar show.   Featuring the simple things like hooks, harmonies and crunch...  Brendan Benson just delivers the goods and was backed pretty much perfectly by the Posies who amped his easy going songs when called for.

What can you do? We live in a world where it's cooler to prefer the overwrought grunting and groaning of Grinderman over power pop bliss.

I did occur to me that it was a tad unfortunate that the show was scheduled right after Grinderman and being mid-week didn't help.  I'm sure their fanbases are aging and even shows that get over by 11:30 are a stretch.... But, seeing as the inferior side projects of Jack White can pull full houses, this should much fuller...

Billing his as being part of that other band was insulting enough.

Spelling his name wrong in the billing would have taken the cake.
