Very close to tonight although "Take Good Care of It," "Lay it Down" and maybe one more were in there.

Played almost exactly two hours.

And yes Hopscotch is the best fest ever.

It is the festival for people who hate festivals.

I totally don't feel like I just got back from a festival and two post-festival shows (also made it to Cigarette/Soft Spot at Paper Sun as well as Spiritualized Sunday) right now.

Spiritualized videos from 9:30 show:

She Kissed Me --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2sm-qF_9vc

All of My Tears --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0i47B0SDXM

I also just posted some Gorguts videos from last week's killer show; that's on SLDC's youtube channel for those who are so inclined.

Blondie / X tonight.  First show in a while, so we'll see if I can get myself out of the house after dark :)

I loved, loved (x10) the Spiritualized show last night.  They are a top-ten band for me, and this was my first time seeing Pierce and his band live, and it completely met and shot beyond my expectations.

Maybe the best show I have attended at the 9:30 Club.

Possibly - Terrence Hannum/Richard Youngs at BC Backstage on Tuesday
Probably - Hampdenfest to see Celebration, Raindeer, and Roomrunner on Saturday.  I plan on bringing my girlfriend's teenage brother to it (it will be his first ever show).

nah, sorry, just took the two-- to be honest, I thought the show was good except for the two backup singers, who were routinely off-key and/or not blending at all with Jason Pierce.  Granted, he's not the easiest person to harmonize with, but their vocals were so grating to me that it had a negative impact on my enjoyment of the show.  I thought the songs they did without those two were the best parts of the set (and notably, my two videos deliberately did not feature the backup singers).

for me this week:

Tue - either Savages or Richard Youngs (depending on set times, I might try to do both)
Thu - maybe Borracho/Corsair @ the Pinch
Fri - Black Cat show (yay for David Yow!)
Sat - Black Cat show
