I've noticed that service is no longer provided for the MPP shows as of late.

Pat should be great. I wish he would get the old Group w/Lyle, etc. back together.  I went to a lot of those shows in the 80's-90's and hearing those "untitled" tunes before they were recorded, ah yeah.
"American Garage" was my entry point and "Offramp" was my go-to.

I like the album i think it is called letter home.. some incredibly beautiful music.... pedro aznar is such a kickass bassist....(fans of Argentine rock will know him from Seru Giran and numerous other bands)....one of the songs he sings on that album is just so beautiful...

generally I'm not a huge Metheny fan...

Thanks.  We're both pretty bummed, but luckily there's good stuff on Netflix and OnDemand.  Watched Snowpiercer, Battered Bastards of Baseball, and catching up on VEEP.  So, there's that.
First, and foremost, I am sorry to hear of your husband's injury. We can make him an honorary boardie so he can join the ranks of the rest of us who spent/are spending part of 2014 convalescing. :(

Second, how was Snowpiercer? I am apparently the last person to hear about this apparently awesome VOD phenomenon.

Thanks everyone.  Surgery is this coming Thursday.

Snowpiercer was good, but a little predictable.  Maybe my hopes were too high?  It was a really fucked up Willy Wonka.  That's the best way I know to describe it.  I know it's release was delayed here because of the length, but I would have really liked a longer movie to really explore aspects of the train.  But, that's why some people also really loved it, because you have to figure out things for yourself.  It just seemed a little obvious to me...

I was a schmuck and downloaded Snowpiercer, which is stupid because I'm much more likely to be a flake. And sure enough, after an hour I was kinda unsettled by how it went from brutal to boring and back and forth and I thought "eh, I'll watch the rest tomorrow" but I never did.

I'll probably be at Boris tomorrow night. I got a buy one, get one free ticket at the Queens of the Stone Age concert a few weeks ago.
