We bottled the "mild" raspberry sour I was asking about a while back. Thinking it will be a nice summer refresher. Also had a bottle of the quad I bottled maybe a month ago...after nine days it was super boozy but after a month it's starting to taste nice.

I never commented when you were talking about that sour, but you when straight to graduate level stuff with the Sour's and Quads
Haven't even considered that stuff.  I'm still unable to make a drinkable DIPA (although I've been know to drink my mistakes, I just make sure never to share those batches)

and getting your 12 yr old to help (with out $$) ...I can barely get mine to do their homework and get the laundry in the basket
Although there are very few steps I feel I need help with, I could never imaging getting them to sanitize the bottles or clean out the fermenter

Ah thanks, don't give me too much credit though. Both were just extract kits bought of or Northern Brewer. The quad is supposed to be a copy of Westy 12, so I figured if it's half as good as the real thing it's probably on par with most American quads. And the fruited sour...just a kettled slightly soured witbier. Definitely isn't going to complete with Joose from the Answer.

I figure no way am I going to come anywhere near the Other Half beers in my fridge so I haven't done a hoppy beer in a long time.

And to be honest, I exaggerate my 12 year old's help. She did help me once, when her mom wasn't home and she saw I really, realty needed help with something and I probably bribed her with something.

Exactly!  My wife has offered to pay my daughter good amounts of money just to do her basic house chores, and she still refuses. Why should she? She knows her mom will take her on shopping sprees every other weekend regardless if she does anything or not.

I remember when I was a kid, I was shoveling cow manure for pay far less than the minimum wage. All while being forced to listen to Joe Diffie. And I didn't have the option to refuse. Sigh.

give the quad another 3-4 months in the bottle, should taste amazing by then.
