Realistically speaking, is this thing going to sell-out, meaning pavilion and lawn seats?

And on a related note, when does the presale start/end?

I would guess that the pavilion at merriweather will sellout quickly and what ever tickets are sold for the lawn are considered gravy....  just consider it a 5k venue with bleachers

score one for The Kosmeister!!!

Since the presale is tomorrow, does anyone have any advice on particularly good areas to sit? I'm setting my limit around $100 so if tickets are 250 max I figured 100 will get me a seat under the pavilion towards the back. What's the big blue area in the center area?  http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1500424C7DFB1EF5?artistid=733217&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1

I am hoping there are cheaper tickets in the back of the center pavillion. $250 is most likely in the pit.
I'm not sure what the big blue area is? Maybe where the lighting/mixing people stay during the show...

So, I'm guessing that the pavilion area is essentially a sell-out?

Will I be safe waiting a while to buy a lawn ticket?  And by a while, I mean a few weeks.

I'm guessing seats towards the back on the pavillion will be around $80. I usually only do lawn seats at Merriweather so that's only an educated guess.

In regards to selling out, I honestly have no idea. I can't see the Baltimore area drawing a huge amount of fans, but since there is no D.C. show, this is essentially a D.C. and Baltimore show. I would expect the lawn to possibly not sell out at all. Merriweather holds 10,000+ (I think). He sold out venues twice that size in Europe, but I doubt that success to translate stateside.

Looks like I'm going to have to bring my laptop to class tomorrow to get tickets. This is also going to be my first time ever going to a  show alone lol.

Well, no $250 tickets available in the fan presale anyway... (at least that I could call up right at 10). Got RC, row X, not too bad...$100 each

I went right for the $100 tickets and bought one in CTR Row V.   Not bad for 3rd-price-tier tickets.   Those $250 tickets must be pretty limited.  I just pulled a single R-FLR Row D for $175.

Looking forward to this one.

Looks like we'll be neighbors, Bombay.  I got same

I can't believe I just spent $117.60 that I honestly do not have.  This better be a life changing experience or Cohen is no longer my man

I got Center V too, Bomby and Samantha.

And Samantha, from what I've read, the reviews warrant the price. I literally have not read one negative review yet from any of the 2008 or 2009 shows.
