Cool song! Their last album "Absolute Dissent" was great. "2012" should be excellent as well. They still owe us a DC show but I doubt they will come back to the US any time soon.

It'a all on Jaz.  He hates the US (politically...not the people who live there).  European tour is already outlined.

Personally, I think he owes us for the cancellation last time around.  Was so looking forward to that show.

The Stars Explode - Between The Lines

Return of the Gladhands songwriter recorded with Will Rigby on drums.  Another fantastic kickstarter project to be involved with.

Dementia and Hope Trails - Parts of the Sea

The description within the link is pretty good. In short, fans of post rock and/or shoegaze really want this.

Edit: Cassette sold out so the artist uploaded it. Totally legal download.

What do you guys reckon the male to female ratio at the Dead Milkmen show will be?

About the same as the dork to non-dork ratio?

About the same as any show... Hot chicks don't go to many shows unfortunately.

God, it can't be good...for either of those ratios.

I will say that Ween shows over the years have definitely seen an uptick in hot women in the audience...but I can't see the same happening here.

Personally, I have absolutely no interest in hot chicks. Don't care about the dork factor. Have given up being concerned about the hot guy factor long ago since it usually means that it would be a gay show. Being straight, that doesn't do me any good; however, it would probably mean that I'd have a damn good time. Ultimately, for me, it makes no difference anymore. I'm there for the music. Wish I could be there for the Dead Milkmen but it's just too far away.

I don't care what anyone says, it's a nice surprise when you go to a show and there are some decent looking women there rather than a bunch of comic book looking fellows.

regardless of who is there, i'll just be happy that i am there.  did think about listening to old albums to prepare, but to me . . . that is like watching a trailer for a movie, before you watch the same movie.

and i do enjoy the fact, that we have had no winter this year, except on the weekend the dead milkmen are playing.  some people out where i live are calling for 1-2 inches . . . or 6-10 inches.  so my drive home on sunday morning might be my own personal "bitching camaro" song story.
