This album is in my top echelon of Pollard projects.....hard to believe he can still pull off a classic (no doubt with Doug’s help) but he did! An album that can stand with Bee Thousand or Alien Lanes...

I was very lukewarm on this band for years until I saw them live about three years and have since been very mad at myself over not seeing them more. Great band.

The two females who were two-thirds of the original band died from suicide and a brain tumor. That sucks.

I just have to say that the new Best Coast LP is what I feel like I've been waiting years to hear: positive, optimistic, self-deprecating but funny, and there's an energy to it that makes 41 minutes seem incredibly brief. Bethany's grown as a vocalist, and each song is its own entity but as an LP, it flows perfectly. That is going to be such a great show, and with Mannequin Pussy opening, it shouldn't be missed. That's one band that definitely deserves some love.

Never realized there was a volume 2...volume 1 has the classic dialogue that Primal Scream sampled “we want to be free..”

Although I recently came across someone else that sampled that before Primal..name escapes me but I was surprised
