Hear Liam Gallagher, Dave Grohl Team Up for ‘Everything’s Electric’ http://dlvr.it/SJMYt8

Dammit was just about to post this… kind of a unholy alliance for this one.. and since it’s Liam one’s  mileage will vary

New Rave-Ups was good will listen again

Same for Los Bitchos an instrumental all girl group with surf/garage etc influences. Produced by Alex Kapranos

Opening the Belle and Sebastian/Japanese Breakfast show.

the clash of course
although it seems like there wasn't a ton of coordination as some has it as the 7th and some the 8th

Although as I understand it KEXP invented it, so I think they get the final say..

Lots of Clash influenced Argentinian rock on KEXP right now. The DJ is really cute, too.

Argentine rock!? Dope

Correction: What I was hearing was actually Mexican rock, obviously inspired by the Clash. Maybe some Clash inspired Argentinian rock later in the show.

The DJ is Argentinian.

Hell yeah

There’s even a song from Charly Garcia - to my mind the most important person in Latin rock - where he sings “escuchando al Clash” then you hear “Sandinista!!!” At 1:09 in

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GGveBoRkb1E

The song is asking the English not to bomb Buenos Aires during the Malvinas War that was happening/ happened in 1982…the year of its release….hilarious
