So, I was happily gardening at 5pm on Saturday, no cicadas in sight.  then, at 9pm, when I was headed out to see MoB, I saw them squirming around on the ground, out of their holes.  They leave big holes behind-- about the size of a dime.  Now they're all over.

The two trees in my yard and the telephone pole outside of my house are completely covered in their shells.  It sounds like a spaceship is landing a couple blocks from my house.

I regret to inform you that flawd101 passed away in (community) college from an alcohol enema he was attempting to give himself with Nikolai vodka.

ratioci nation remains the greatest online handle I've ever seen and I am bitterly disappointed at myself that I didn't think of it.
