You again situtu,
someone said that Cornershop at 9.30 was one of the worst gigs they had seen and the lead SInger would not make eye contact or acknowledge the audience at all...
Still I liked the first album.

c'mon
give the guy a break. stagefright is quite common. even clarence (Citizen Cope) battled it for quite some time. special translated as transcending - not engaging.

I like their new (I think) single. Can't remember the name exactly but it has Rocky in the title.

first a right, and now an uppercut
tricky doesn't exactly make eye contact. still, his tour in support of maxinquaye was amazing. isn't it cool of seth that he let tricky smoke up on stage? no need to discuss what tricky's done lately though.

one thing i will not do and that's put down (anymore than i may have already) someone's taste or music. i'm not sure who said it, but they said it best... it's all good if someone feels something when they hear it.
i have blowback and can tolerate a few tracks. but if someone says it's their "grace," i can respect that.

Situtu said he was a Teacher, Markie. Just give him or her a couple more years. No doubt s/he'll change his/her tune! That is, unless s/he works in some Utopian system...which I doubt! Before you know it, s/he (?) will be joining Rhett and I at slinging something or other! (Probably students, Principals and politicians.) BTW Situtu, are you a male or a female? Just want to know so we can make this typing easier.

Perhaps gender is an offensive question,
perhaps Kline-Felter is in the house?
Actually I cant remember how to spell it, just think Jamie Lee Curtis...

Okay, you lost me there Markie. Apparently, I didn't see that movie. Or are you talking about that Jamie Lee Curtis gender question?

[This message has been edited by Jaguar (edited 03-06-2002).]

you're on to me. there's no way i can go on posting without getting caught up in some wholesome humor. that's certainly not my nature - especially since my special ed students don't get sarcasm, i'll need this board as another outlet.
sorry, for causing gender/sex confusion - male. situtu was my peace corps namibia name and i've kept it. it's been a few years, probably time to let it go - although, the meaning in silozi (my host language) is pretty classic: "naked transient lover" as a newlywed, perhaps i should consider a new screen name.

its a genetic disease where you have too many of the sex-chromosomes. So instead of XY there are people with XXX and XYX. I believe that Jamie Lee Curtis is XYX and that is Kline-Felter. Silencing of the extra chromosome means that people are normal, but get messed up genitalia.
