Just gotta pass along this story, cause it involves a band with two VV's in it's name and a lo-fi recording under their belts.  I've already passed judgement on this band enduring a couple unlistenable songs and the fore mentioned attributes.

"I heard the lead singer grouse that playing was "Pointless" because only 8 people showed up. Then when they played, he complained that one one was getting right up front. But when he said before one song that he was playing in front of "Nobody", I lost it.
"We are not nobody!" I yelled, motioning to the other seven people, WHO WERE REALLY INTO THEM.
"Well, why are you hiding?" He replied to me.
"Who the fuck is hiding?" Comet is slightly larger than a classroom, there is no place to hide.
So I get the next song dedicated to me, accompanied by an middle finger. Clever boy, aping our obscene gestures along with our easy-to-mock affectations."

Japancakes is my favorite band name with "japan" in it.
Although Japanther, Japandroids and Japanties are all solid.


I think I'll put on Japancakes' rendition of Loveless right now.

Yeah, that one is the best! Should use the Eastern European pronounciation of the letter 'J' which sounds out like a 'Y'.

Did a show in Comet before as well. That place gets crowded and hot real quick.
