Heck, lets just blame him for all the troops and civilians killed in WW1, WW2, The Civil War, Korean War and Vietnam War, it's much easier this way. I'm gonna blame him for the "F" I got in History class my Junior Year in High School. I'm gonna be so happy to call my Mom up tonight and put it in her face that it wasn't actually my fault and that George W. Bush shoulda been grounded and not me......This is fun....The next time my girlfriend gets mad at me for something I'll just say It was Bush's fault and to be mad at him, then we'll be happy again. Wooooo Hooooo for this easy solution to all my problems.     :p  [/QB]
was he president while you were in high school?

did Bush send airstrikes to your High School?

did he bomb your high school?

I think we can blame Bush for a lot of stuff that is happening in the country he pre-emptively struck down and beat to death....and then called it a war.

Small detail of a difference here, Bush didnt start WW1, WW2, The Civil War, Korean War or the Vietnam War.  But he would love the opportunity.

It's just fun being able to blame someone else for all the problems in the world whether now or the past. Common guys, try it. It's fun.

I think most people at the time would have loved the opportunity to bring America into WW1 and WW2. Or would they rather say "Good job Japan for bombing us, you won't fool us twice though".

so the president of the United States, strongest, richest country in the world, should be able to make ALL these decisions and not get the blame for when the shit hits the fan?

i didnt see the Yankees blaming the New York Rangers for choking against Boston.

nor did i see their fans blaming anyone but them.

or maybe we should just give credit to the resilliant Iraqis for not just lying down and dying while you take thier country and turn it upside down?

It is pretty clear in the analysis so far that what won this election for Bush (because it won Ohio) was the issue of gay marriage.  Not jobs, or Iraq, or supreme court justices, or the environment or many other important issues.  But rather, making something that is already illegal, even more illegal.

 It is really quite amazing.

I think this election proved that the Democrats could have won an election and not carry a single state from the old south (not that I agree with this logic, politically).  A tighter focus on the hispanics in the Sun Belt or a better showing in the midwest and the Dems can ignore making any in roads in the south.  All they neded was Ohio in this election and it would have proven correct.

Clearly you missed Bush talking to Charlie Gibson saying he was for gay civil unions, it just wasn't part of his platform, and then Karl Rove in the White House breifing room explaining that the president misunderstood the question less then an hour later.
