The Addams Family movie was hilarious.

One of the top tier kid's (not sure I would call this a kid movie) cartoons I've seen over the past five years.

With Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester and Snoop Dogg as cousin Itt, how can you go wrong?

The Dora the Explorer movie was way, way, way better than I would have guessed it would be. Seriously.

One of the reasons I'm not a parent is so I never have to say things like this.

For the record, the Dora movie stands on it's own as a good Bill and Ted meets Indiana Jones flick regardless of whether you've seen the kid's show. Though having seen the kid's show only makes it better.

Not every moment of life has to be lived in a Nick Cave world.

The Art of Self-Defense. Dan, this one was dark and creepy, and hilariously funny.

American Woman. Oscar nominations should be in order for Sienna Miller and Christina Hendricks. But since it only did 236K at the box office, likely not. So I'll gladly give them each a SON.

I took a solid 40 minute nap during Frozen 2 with my kids. Money well spent.

But seriously, Dolemite Is My Name is a great flick just for Murphy’s acting. Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets nominated for an Oscar. Great supporting cast, too.

My wife, daughter, and mom went to see it and all reported enjoying it. My daughter thought it was better than the original, not sure if my wife agreed.

I went hiking and Black Friday beer drinking with my brother instead. Boys will be boys.

It felt like watching a Nickelodeon special, rather than a real movie.

There's a Bikram yoga doc on the NEtflix that is gross but interesting.

Perhaps less surprising than Billie Eilish's inability to know Van Halen, but I have never seem a Nickelodeon special. Are there some you can recommend?
