I'm in the exact same boat. Thought about it but that price is completely unjustifiable.

yesh, 29 for beirut. i've been always wanting to see him since the clusterfuck that took place at the warehouse nextdoor but i don't think i can justify the price.

It's sucks too, b/c TM has two fees added to the ticket. So the total is approx. $40 if you do snail mail (free). One suggestion is to tag up w/ others and do a bulk order. The fees don't inflate.
I wish I had it in me to just ignore the show and to demonstrate against the high price, but as we all know there is always someone willing to pay the cost and go.

Sorry, that's what I did earlier and it worked. I'm sure Live Nation controls most of the ticket inventory and provides 6th & I with a limited supply.

If this is a full band set, I guess it's justifiable while still high but if Simon thinks a significant amount of people will pay that much for a dj set, all that dmt has finally warped his brain beyond repair.

predictably enough, blame the DMT.  damn wishful thinking.  certainly makes this much less interesting... hopefully they'll add a bunch of other acts to the bill.

No. The girl-fronted band that opened for Plants and Animals was fukkin' epic. The fact you are willing to go out to Nissan for two horrible bands is wrong, though.
