really?  he literally has one of the best guitar collections in the world.  given the place that guitars have in our culture i would think this is notable, no?  i would understand scratching of heads at the mention of a the world's biggest lint or pull-tab collection...

My parents found boxes and boxes of dryer lint in my younger brother's closet when he was like 6 and they threw it all out and he cried for two days straight that they threw away "his collection." A few days later they found a dead bird in his closet and upon being asked he said he was starting "a new collection."

He was promptly sent to a child psychologist and is a well-adjusted human being today.
