oh fuck you smackiedork.  i had to plan to avoid my cousins wedding, my sister having her first kid, and the rainy late august/early september season in Jamaica.  thats what i meant, dipshit.

yup gonna have to say seeing the Stooges at the club was indeed Awesome times infinity + 42, at least there wasn't a huge power outage like the last time i was planning to see the them at their first reunion gig near detroit.
 
 how about building an awesome one day festival around them at Merriweather, with Sonic Youth doing "Daydream Nation", Scott Morgan (The Rationals, Sonic's Rendezvous Band), The Dirtbombs, etc
