Hey Seth,

Thanks for the dj/electronic shows as of late. Looking forward to Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem.  Underworld is shaping up a North American run for September with LA, Denver, and NY announced.  Any chance you can get them to down to DC?  Thanks!

heya seth,

how soon can we expect a line-up announcement for VFest?

if you are holding back b/c it's not entirely confirmed, may i suggest releasing a few "big names" that are definites to entice the punters?

as crazy as it sounds, some people (yours truly included) are soon to decide about plans for that weekend.  i recognize that i'm not the average concert-goer, but choices are being made...

p.s. i just read a little about hawtin's live shows... they sound incredible, marvels of modern technology.  please please please see what y'all can do about bringing him to the club!  a dj set would also do quite nicely if the live thing is too big a production.

Is Ginderman getting set to tour the US? If so, please schedule them for the club. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this has already been addressed, but Wilco is touring and currently has no DC date. Could you bring them to town or to the V-Fest? Thank ya sir.

I think a Merriweather date was already mentioned.

Hi Seth,

So yes I'm the guy that told you I won't be making it to V-Fest in the Lollapalooza thread.  It's really a Pearl Jam thing.

Now that I have that unfortunate part out of the way, could you please look into booking Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise?  They are back and looking to book weekend dates this summer.

Rufus Wainright solo show maybe?  I know hes at Merriweather as a special guest but a smaller solo show would be nice. Thanks!

stupid question.  i have only been to a couple of 930 shows this yr.  a couple of yrs ago you put the front fill speakers in so the people up front can hear the vocals.  almost everytime i am at the 930 those spkrs are not on.  gus always sez it is up the soundman with each band to turn them on.  why can't they be turned on all the time?  why can't the spkrs stacked on the side of the stage have more vocals in them?  it seems like the vocals only come out of the flown spkrs.  people up front always complain they cannot hear the vocals.  don't let me down.

I love that you brought Bad Brains to V-Fest.
But any chance you can get them to come to the 930 Club?
