i was so sick of local metal bands, kix and cover bands....

  I need a FEW shows here in Baltimore.  I didnt realize how spoiled I was younger, living in Toronto.  You thought DC got a lot of shows.....no tour forgets to stop in Toronto.

Hey Seth

Any way you can work with tickets.com on their ridiculous and totally outrageous fees?  For instance, if I wanted to buy a TVOTR ticket, I'd have to pay a 40% markup in fees - $10 on a $25 ticket.  That is insane.  Esp since they charge $4 even if you pick up tickets at will call and don't have them mailed.  Can't you work out a deal like the Black Cat did with TM where there's a certain reasonable low flat fee?  the fees are killing me!

This is the band of Gustavo Santaolalla, who won best score for Babel. Bajofondo started like a mix between tango and electronica, but now is a lot more than that...

Is it just me or does it seem like these days bands either end up doing huge festivals or they headline club gigs alone? Once upon a time, you'd have bigger bills of like 3 or 4 bands touring together. I guess maybe economically they all want a bigger slice of the pie...but I remember the days of Aphex Twin, the Orbital, Moby and Ultramarine touring together, or the time My Bloody Valentine, Blur, Dinosaur Jr. and the Jesus and Mary Chain toured in the UK. I can't fathom the buzz a tour like that would cause nowadays.
