What great days those were in Detroit when #91 was dating Kournikova, and every time he'd score and she was in the building they'd put her up on the jumbotron and the place would start chanting "Annn-naaaa! Annn-naaaa!" Nothing defined Detroit hockey quite some prime T&A in the JLA.

Incidentally, Wings fans were pushing hard to trade for Mike Comrie at the trade deadline (before his contract got extended). Not so much for his playing ability but because he's dating Hilary Duff and that was the hottest girlfriend available at the deadline. Sigh.

yes, but didnt they all    :D  [/QB]
I think the official list of Kournikova's bedmates consists only of Federov and Enrique Iglesias, with Pavel Bure highly rumoured.

Incidentally, there is no consensus as to whether or not she's ever been married. Federov claims they were married and divorced, but she says they weren't. Two rumoured marriages to Iglesias, and another with Bure. She refuses to confirm/deny any of them, which is really odd.

Ahem.  At, uh, this time, Senator, I can neither confirm, nor deny, whether or not, my name should be added to that list.  However, I am told, by counsel, that I can confirm, that she was, uh, much stronger than I had anticipated.   Thank you.

The Hart is given to the MVP (hence why I posted all the other stats about Ovie)

The Ross is given for most points, tool.
No s#*t, but when was the last time the Hart was given to someone who didn't participate in the postseason? Better hope that's not a deciding factor, fool...

I was just remarking on how you think it is absurd that anyone else other Ovechkin has a chance to win the MVP.

And if you think the only reason the Pens have a fanbase is because of Crosby then you are a blithering idiot. The organization has a tradition that nearly ranks up there with the Original Six. (Have you heard of that term Mr. Super Hockey fan?!) I can probably name you three Pens from each season's roster going back to the mid-80's.

I love this trash talking. Man, this Sunday is gonna be fun....

-1988 to Mario Lemuiex , Pens finished last in the Patrick- You should know that 'Mr. I-know-the-roster-going-back-to-the-mid-8O's Super Hockey Fan' tool.

-I never said only Ovie has a chance. I'm not a blind homer like Pen's fans. Any number of western conference teams have a great shot. Iginla, Datsyuk, Alfie, Nabokov

-It'll be a good tough game, the only thing I'm guaranteeing is seeing some douchebag, bandwagon Pens fans.

Gosh. Its fun to rile you up, slappy.

I'm aware of Mario's MVPs. But that was 20 years ago and he was greatest hockey player of all time.

Sorry I didn't have time to look up the exact year on the internet.

And Pens fans have been filling DC arenas for quite some time. I do remember a particular controversy in the 90s when the Caps ownership were blocking playoff ticket sales coming out of Pittsburgh. Can a bandwagon last for over 10 years?

I'm far from riled. You guys are so clueless its funny.
I'd take Grez, Gordie, and Richard before Mario on the greatest.

FYI... there's a thing called  Google try it sometime its really fast for looking up things you don't know... i mean forgot.    ;)

Those are the definites. Add Yzerman, Roy and Orr to that list as well.

The next tier has Mario, Francis, Esposito, maybe Coffey, Messier and Lidstrom too.

You're probably trying not to be too bias, but Lidstrom could go up to the top tier. Probably the greatest European to play in the NHL.

BTW, what happened to the kid from Potomac, Brian whatsisface who played for the Caps...were is he now?

I'm just glad there's no "Jagr" on anyones best list...he's top of the 'most overrated' list, imho of course.

If you're including heart and soul and not just pure skill then you have to include Dale Hunter and Rod Langway to any 'greatest' list.

I'd have him in my third tier. He lacks leadership no doubt, but on sheer numbers alone, it's going to be hard to deny at the end of his career he was an elite++ player (albeit in a scoring mad time frame).

Everyone does offensive players in their lists, but there are alot of goalies and d-men ones should consider. Sawchuk, Roy, Hasek, and Tretiak (if we're counting non-NHL guys too) all can make a case for being in the top two tiers, as probably could Orr, Lidstrom, Harvey, Bourque, Coffey, and maybe even Niedermayer or Chelios.
