Are we allowed to talk about hard-booch in this thread?

The Brand has been trying to get me to drink kombucha for years for my gut, but I have been ignoring the request.  She brought home some Kombucha with alcohol so of course I'll give that a shot.

Turns out it's pretty good.  I mean, I only drink one a day, but I feel like my craps are better.

I'm sure they are respectable, but is anybody clamoring for a Cloudburst trade? Yada? Brennser?

i'll bet katiebug is interested ;D

cloudburst does have an above-average reputation for their hazies (voted seattle's best several times), and until the pandemic they never canned/bottle - it was all draft, and mostly only on-site.  so i could see there being some pent-up demand.

I've been to the brewery and sure it's solid,  but I'm sure as hell not shipping beer 3k miles to get cloud burst hazy cans.

Kinda wanted to see what Yada said

good Kombucha typically has alcohol
In CA they made this big deal about kids and you now have to show id to get the Booch with an ABV

if it's good for your gut...it's good for you

This isn't just regular kombucha - they've upped the anti to a point that peaked my interest.  4.8% to 8% per 12 oz can....

I have no opinions nor have I ever tasted kombucha...

I do support good dumps though.

agreed, hazies don't travel well - hence the "don't trade" request on the can.  we've come full circle.

Space, our Governor announced today:

On June 15, California will fully open its economy if two criteria are met:

- If vaccine supply is sufficient for Californians 16 years and older who wish to be inoculated; and
- If hospitalization rates are stable and low

Pretty good chance on both of those.  Masks will still be required in some situations.

Thanks Vansmack. That's indeed good news. Keep up the good work California!

On this day in 1933, prohibition on the sale of beer was repealed in the United States. That’s why every year on April 7th, America raises a glass to celebrate it’s favorite alcoholic beverage.

As part of National Beer Day, Boston’s Sam Adams announced that they are giving away a free beer with proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Below is a list of all the different Montgomery County breweries you can grab a pint at as part of the celebration.

Astro Lab Brewing: Silver Spring
Brookeville Beer Farm: Brookeville
Denizen’s Brewing Company Silver Spring
Elder Pine Brewing and Blending Co. Gaithersburg
Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co. Olney
Saints Row Brewing: Rockville
7 Locks Brewing: Rockville
Silver Branch Brewing Company Silver Spring
True Respite Brewing Company Rockville
Waredaca Brewing Company Gaithersburg

Is there a list for Fairfax County?

Ironically, I serve wine with dinner maybe once every two weeks, and tonight is a wine night.
