I enjoyed Beck on Thursday night. He has his show as confidently and stylishly down pat as, say, Paul McCartney at this point. As said previously, it was a similar show to Merriweather in 2014 (was the "Where It's At"/band-introductions-with-mini-covers/"Where It's At" encore exactly the same?), but I believe I enjoyed myself more at the Anthem. Great, rambling version of "Debra" mixed with a "Raspberry Beret" cover. "Loser" coming so early in the set was maybe the biggest surprise.
In the future, however near or distant, I would not be opposed to a nostalgic tour playing Sea Change in full in comparatively smaller venues.
