Nick Cave was amazing

I was surprised he played with a small Bad Seeds line up but it worked for the more intimate newer numbers

Nick on piano
Warren Ellis guitar and weird string instruments
A keyboardist
Drummer
And Adamson

At one point some 50 something got a little frisky - complaining a lot about people’s height and weight and talking- and someone just bottled him and he went down...security was all over it

Bill Frisell Trio @ The Keystone Korner Baltimore on 4/25/2021, 7:30pm show.

I enjoyed two Other Half 16oz beers outdoors at Max's on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Bawlmoor.

Having seen Bill Frisell multiple times over the years, this may have been my favorite (or I could be slightly skewed based on not seeing live music for over a year). The trio was incredible with one of the best rhythm sections I've ever heard.

My first time at this venue, it was probably at 20% (maybe) capacity and I had the table to myself in front of the stage.

Everyone in the venue was masked including the band other than when shoveling food or drink into their mouth.

Would return.

Yeah... this hashtag isn't fully live until spring of 2022 is my guess. Will confirm at a later date.

Thanks for posting the recordings Yada-

When the club first opened, I read that the owner originally had a club by the same name in San Francisco in the 1970s.  So I was curious if it was the same Keystone where the famous Garcia/Saunders sessions were performed... any pictorial evidence inside?

Glad to see he's making a go of it.

I'm at Downtown Crown picking up beer. There's a guy with a guitar and a cute girl with a banjo from West Virginia and they started with a John Prime/ Iris Dement cover. I may never leave.

Don't know that I'd go that far, but he wasn't ugly.

There are way more cuter girls in the world than boys.

Showtime @ The Drive Inn in Frederick was a hit...

It was a bit strange and felt more like you were hanging out somewhere with a band playing in the background vs. being a concert, but it was a beautiful night to be out and seeing music. #spaceApproved byob and food, mixed with amazing weather, and good friends = would do it again. We did move up at one point during the night and then it felt more concert like.

Feet. You can't move your car once parked.

Saw Cracker last night at Strangeways Brewing in Fredericksburg. Outdoor show. Pouring sweat in spite of being completely sedentary.

First show in 16 months. Didn't have any bottle cracked over my head. Kudos to my wife who placated my 14 yr old who was acting half her age. "When are we leaving?"

Show was supposed to go from 6:30-8, but it was more like 6:40-9, with a 15 minute break due to technical difficulties. They sprinkled the first six tracks from their debut album, which was cool. A guy who after the fact i thought may have been David Lowery commented on my t-shirt as I waited in the bathroom line.

Traffic was terrible. Should have been 50 mins each way, ended up being 90+ and 70.

Best line of the night...my wife was waiting in the beer line. The band opened with "Eurotrash Girl." The 60ish woman  in front of my wife tells the bartender, "Hear this song, "Eurotrash Girl?" I once dressed up as a Eurotrash girl for Halloween."
