Want to see the massive blowout diaper that made me late for work this morning?

Shouldn't you be posting that in the THIS OLD thread?

In the ultimate acts of rebellion, our 12 year old told us she wanted to start watching football and going to church. Football season is over and I think she's forgotten about the church thing, but damn, parenting is tough.

should have said she was into really, really expensive cheese too and hit the trifecta.

What do you mean, you don't want to hear about my techniques for blowing your father?  I mean, you're going to learn eventually, anyways... Where are you going?  Honey, come back!

I, still wonder if Seth, is a nerd.

I’m sure he’s a fan of certain types of Japanese animation.

"I just walked into the refrigerator door, and now all the eggs are broken."

"Ok, make sure you clean everything up."

Mlnutes later...

"Did you clean everything up? Make sure you clean out the container the eggs were in." (She never washes ANY dishes or cleans any kitchen messes she makes, and when I call her on it, her mom starts screaming at me to "leave the child alone, you need to be her prince.")

"I cleaned the floor, that was hard enough. I'm not cleaning the container. NOW SHUT UP." Door slams.

can confirm, teenagers suck at cleaning and use the tactic "if I make it painful for my parents to ask, then maybe they won't ask next time' along with 'I'm going to do this as poorly as possible, so they will think twice before asking me to do this again'

Told my wife about it over email and her reply:

you do need to be more helpful to her
she's a kid
you have to help her clean
just like I help you
every. time. you make your stupid omelette there is sticky egg white residue where you were prepping even when you act like you're done
I am always running up after you and her to help w your shortcomings
you can do that for her, too

When I was a junior in college, I lived in a dorm suite with a bunch of guys who threw their half eaten boxes of pizzavand otehr trash into the suite hallway, stacked up way high, instead of carrying it out to the dumpster.

I fear my kid is going to be one of those kids.

I hate days like today, when my kid is home and both parents are home working.

Latest line" "Space, when can you get this cunt out of my house? It can't come soon enough."

Take your daughter and leave now. You are in an abusive relationship. There are shelters if you need one.
