Daughter lives there; actually Weaverville, just north of Asheville.  We are there all the time.

I'm in Asheville.  Expecting up to 12 inches.
Living there or vacationing?
I know exactly where Weaverville is. Own a vacation home/investment property there.

Nice.  We just bought here. Eventually plan for it to be 2nd home.

Oh nice! We love Asheville. When my current engagement ends, we will likely either move to the Weaverville property or sell our Richmond place and move into Asheville proper (west Asheville likely) and either sell the weaverville place and continue to Airbnb it.

Perhaps see you at Orange Peel or Rabbit Rabbit at some point.

Back to weather related things

Tonga's Hunga Tonga volcano just had one of the most violent volcano eruptions ever captured on satellite.

NASA scientists estimate Tonga blast at 10 megatons

That means the explosive force was more than 500 times as powerful as the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, at the end of World War II.

Virtual snow day tomorrow in Fairfax, in honor of the dusting of snow that's predicted for the morning. With a two hour delayed start and two hour early release.

Thank you. Please also pray that my wife and daughter don't bring home the COVID from the gym they joined last week.

Mid-April.  Sunny and almost 80 degrees by the middle of the week.  Currently 33 degrees, and pouring snow / sleet / ice in the Shenandoah Valley.  Some areas already have an inch.

Fuck Virginia's weather in the Spring
