Or this version:

John Bolton
@AmbJohnBolton
I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, "Let's talk about it tomorrow."
So when you get sacked, how long do you have access to your gov't twitter account? Or is that a personal account?

John Bolton
was just looking for this thread to post that
is there a term for getting fired by tweet...
I can't believe the internet hasn't come up with a good name for this yet...but I did find this related gem

Can you fire someone over text message?
The simple answer is Yes. While it is unprofessional and rude, unless you have an employment contract or the real reason for the termination is an illegal reason, as discussed below, firing via text message is perfectly legal. Simply being fired by text message does not give you a legal claim against the employer.

it's his personal account.  his first ambassadorship was back in the 80's, so he's been ambassador bolton for a long time.

To be honest, that was the only thing I liked about him and I'm notoriously facial hair adverse.

walrus mustaches are the facial equivalent of a bow tie: not actually attractive, but quirky and provide instant identity.

discuss.

How, dare you. Correct from all angles . . . but how dare, you.  Just, for that, I am wearing one tomorrow.  Also, when you wear them, in the country, no matter what your profession is . . . you are a homospectacle.

Shane Gillis ...fired before even starting

you would think in this day and age that anyone getting a job that will be public facing, that they would do some research on the person and public things they said that everyone else will find

I will say there is a difference between a comedian and a politician

Does it matter if neither can form a coalition?
