Welsh band The Rusty Nutz

They even left us with a farewell video

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE RUSTY NUTZ... GOODNIGHT https://youtu.be/u0zndSqVMNw

it should be noted they did the whole release an album on several obsolete forms of media before Green Day did...

https://therustynutz.bandcamp.com/album/the-rusty-nutz-we-tried-to-make-it-big-but-something-somewhere-went-wrong-and-we-cant-work-out-what-that-something-is-2

they formed a new band called The Kobayashi Maru described as "Featuring 83.33% of The Rusty Nutz."  which of course shouldn't be confused with all the other bands using that name... do a search people...

whoa a release on a Rev disk

this one as well is an odd format that I don't even think I've ever heard of
Sound tape cartridge

found out it was It was introduced in 1958!
Despite its convenience, the RCA tape cartridge was not much of a success
The same design concept would later be used in the more successful Compact Cassette, introduced by Philips in 1962

The 9 hour Prince Netflix documentary that Ezra  Edelmen spent five years working on. Blocked by the Prince estate so they could produce their own presumably sanitized version.

the estate won out by offering netflix access to audio and video from prince's vault, whereas edelmen's effort was unofficial and made using public sources... so netflix chose unreleased over unredacted.

Quicksilver and Volcom too: their parent company = Chapter 11.  all stores will close, if not closed already.
