The Lincoln Project perfectly demonstrates something I’ve long said: the GOP is much better and messaging and elections than the Dems. Their ads are exactly how you run at Donald Trump — call him fat and stupid and weak — and Democrats instead go high when they go low.

It’s monstrous but it works.
