I am watching MA, ME and MN

I don’t know how Warren or Bloomberg stay in or their motives....Warren could stay in but it would kind of be like saying “I just don’t like Bernie!”

And Sanders’ early lead seems to be based on votes cast early....

A fascinating night so far

AP calling Minnesota for Biden. That plus one of Maine or Massachusetts plus being within ten-ish delegates in Texas would be super crushing for Sanders.

Bloomberg is “reassessing” his candidacy, per Larry Sabato.

CA is still out there, but sanders was a big favorite across the board before the SC vote
the tide sure changed quick
didn't hurt that Amy and Pete dropped out*
I think tonight would have been drastically different if they were pulling votes away from Biden

I'm a big fan of early and mail-in voting, but in a primary...doesn't always seem like the best plan

*were told to drop out

The party decides.

Never seen an election turn on a freaking dime like this before. It really betrays that 70% of American Democrat’s were just waiting to find anyone other than Bernie to vote for. Biden won SC big. The party aligned. Fin.

The best stat so far is that of people voting in a primary for the first time the largest percentage (by a good bit) voted for Biden, not Bernie (whose lunatic followers have consistently claimed he will bring new voters to the process).

this has been his biggest indictment, claimed he'd bring new voters...but didn't deliver
I will say...the bashing of team bernie has to stop, we need those voters to come out in November. Not stay home or vote for Trump
Constant insults (even if they did it first) really isn't helping

I really want to hear more about the turnout ....to me that has to be JOB #1 for the dems...turnout...nothing else matters, nothing

Politics is the art of the possible

Pete and Amy are far better off politically for having dropped out....it’s politics

Pete saves his prospects for the future

Amy is in line for a major cabinet position....I do not think she would be considered for VP but you never know

It’s politics not the evil DNC...it’s not being told to drop out it’s knowing when it’s best to drop out....Why would Klobuchar have continued? To get 5% in most states and lose her home state to Sanders and probably come in third? And if Sanders became president don’t you think she might have been challenged by a Sanders supporter and maybe lost her senate seat?

I want to say I want Sessions to lose but the alternative might be worse

I am sorry but I have come around to idea that if say Biden were to win in November it will be despite Sanders and his supporters

A lot of them will sit it out or Sanders may even run third party...his support for Biden would be tepid..he will wreak chaos at convention

The Democratic Party will have to turn some Republicans and maximize turnout among certain groups

I see what many Sanders supporters say on social media...these people will not vote Biden...just like they saw Hillary and Trump as the same thing they will see Biden and Trump as the same so you have to minimize the losses and win despite a sizable number of them
