Perhaps you could help me see if that’s the case by letting me know if a lower percentage of African Americans voted for the Democratic ticket compared to 2016 despite having a woman of color on the ticket in 2020. The Wayne County Board of Canvassers just deadlocked on certifying the vote on party lines. This is unprecedented in my 20 years covering government here.

Apparently if it’s not certified at county level it goes to the state level, but that is also a bipartisan board so probably more fuckery is afoot..,

And the other Republican board member has all kinds of racist stuff on his social media... noticed not a word was said about how Detroit voted in 2016 and apparently there were machine issues then that really delayed the final count

All but one member of the Fed's seven-member board has been nominated by Trump.

It is weird, on the things that seem to matter to regular people, they don't take a stand
but someone who is not right for the fed board, time for a spine

Other Wayne county board member who voted against certification had lots of anti Muslim tweets to be found

And I guess when you get caught saying racist shit in the open  people  sit up and notice you and then this happens

The wild thing about these “irregularities”, especially in light of the “we would certify everywhere but Detroit city” is the most irregular part of Wayne County’s vote is Livonia, not Detroit, by a MILE. Anyone want to guess the racial makeup of Livonia though. (Kosmo, don’t tell them...)

What gets me is the double standard


When the GOP gets away with shit like not holding hearings on Judge Garland people say “You see the Republicans fight hard!”

It’s like people justify it


When Democrats do 1/100th of what Republicans do: “You see! Democrats are the same! They are all politicians and all the same no matter side!”

So frustrating

Sometimes one can’t help but feel what we need are Democratic Party politicians like Trump and MCConnell but of course we are liberals...it’s inimical to our DNA
