Why are so few people getting the latest Covid-19 vaccine?
What good is a miraculous vaccine if nobody wants to take it?

It's a good question. Why haven't you gotten yours yet?

I got mine back in October. I assume I am representative of the rest of the population.

But so far this year, just 14 percent of adults have received a dose of the new vaccine formulation that became available in September — compared to 28 percent who have gotten a flu shot.

I got both shots 2 weeks ago.

How do you know?

Because that's when I got the shot, and when I tested positive.

But you could have been asymptomatic, right?

I believe he is a government bureaucrat.

I suppose he could be fighting the power from the inside…..

I am in an age range where getting COVID and being asymptomatic is about a 25% possibility. So yes, it is possible that I could have had it asymptomatically. I haven't knowingly had COVID since August 2022.

So you can’t really say you didn’t have it…and even if asymptomatic I don’t think you would be able to say you had no effects from it…you might just not know or the effects could show up later.

It’s pretty much impossible to know.

Anyways I am glad you are doing well but I knew a lot of people getting it just a few months ago. It’s important to recognize one’s own experience doesn’t in itself mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

I'm not fighting anything. I'm pro-choice. You want the vaccine, go for it. Someone else doesn't, go for that.
