I heard mentioned that Joe plans to sign 15 executive orders today
Any guesses on which ones?

Really thought Mitch was going to deliver a zinger there...you could hear a pin drop

then he made some bad joke about both of them skipping terms in the house to go directly to Senate seats

I'm am skeptical what would've happened had Covid not occurred. I'm afraid to say that I think Trump would've hands down won had covid not ravaged this country... Additionally, the African American turn out in key states obviously helped as well. I guess it was the perfect storm of shit.
I fully believe Trump wins if COVID did not exist.
That’s true all other things being equal Without covid Trump would have been re-elected

it wasn't the mere appearance of the coronavirus that sank trump's chances - it was the pandemic PLUS the botched response.  if trump had actually addressed and managed the pandemic, had he followed the science and promoted truth instead of fantasies - he would have been reelected.  thanks to his denialism and conspiracy theories, he turned away a good chunk of swing voters.

Well, yes, that’s what I meant to. Obviously had he aced it, it would’ve helped him. He didn’t. He couldn’t. He had no interest in doing the work the same way he had no interest in doing the work on most things.

I will say, man, am I going to sleep well tonite. So much work to do in Bidens first hundred days and first year and things will not turn around overnight, but I will sleep so much better tonite than I have in a while.

not necessarily - he could have meant to write "...that’s what I meant to say" so the "to" would have been correct.

on a solemn day like today, don't you think a little humility is in order?

What a day! I have really enjoyed today.

I feel like having a president that doesn’t spend his days hating on me is such a breath of fresh air...a president that is working for me.

While we need to deprogram as many Trump cultists as possible we also need to deprogram ourselves.. we no longer need to check to see what Trump is doing or bear his hate and that of his minions.. we no longer have to waste our energy on him.. it’s like we suffered a type of PTSD
