give the guy a fucking break - sweet jesus, if its not high ticket prices its a shitty lineup, if its not a shitty lineup its religious insensitivity.....talk about damned if you do and damned if you don't [/b]

I would have been happy to pay the ticket price and I generally like the line up.  But I can't go because I have to be in synagogue all day.  There are only two major Jewish holidays in the whole year.  It wouldn't be too hard to avoid them.

This post proves that we are the whiniest, most self-centered bunch of fucks in the world.

Are you really that much of a true believer in your chosen religion?  Do you think Yaweh will think less of you if you attend the concert?

Yeah, Seth.  You should have scheduled it during Ramadan.  What's wrong with you?

The line-up is awesome.  Even if you only liked one or two bands, it wouldn't kill you to hear a couple new ones.  For instance:

Kasabian, Kasabian, Kasabian - oh yeah, and  I'm with you, Bags:  Robbie Williams, Robbie Williams, Robbie Williams!

The presale worked great...one more WOOOO-HOOOO!

I'M ON THE MAILING LIST BUT NEVER GOT THE PRESALE PASSWORD.  ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT IS.  DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT.

For anyone who went to Siren or is going to Lolla, the line up is simply not worth it, hasslefree or not.  I've decided against buying on the presale...think there's any chance of Kasabian and the Killers doing individual shows in the area other than this festival?

Which is a better deal? Virgin Fest, 97.50 for one day, or Osheaga Fest in Montreal $80 Canadian (=$65 American?) for two days?

pretty much every other festival (pitchfork, coachella, ACL, etc) featuring similar types bands on the lower end (Wolfmother, CYHSY, etc) of the scale are "better deals", but they generally don't have huge "anchors" like The Who or RHCP that will bring in casual music listeners who don't regularly go to concerts

I read that it's the Who's first tour in 10 years? Didn't they tour 2 years ago after the bass player died??
