That's not a ring it's a lapel pin.

I think I am beginning to understand.  Jews attend these Holiday thingies not because they are devoutly religious, in point of fact many are self-professed athiests who claim to be into "Eastern Religions".  They attend because they are afraid that if they don't go to these holiday services then they will become totally assimilated into American society...and lose their Jewish identity.

Am I getting warmer..?  I read this in Newsweek, BTW.  So it must be true.

Considering I have to fly to Montreal, find a place to stay and eat out at restaurants, VF is by FAR the better deal.

And supporting Seth, IMP and the local scene: priceless.

Remind me why I need to "support" Seth? I'm willing to wager that he has enough $$ to support me, for a number of years.

Seth plays a part in what shows come to 9:30.  We get a lot of shows in such a great venue from bands that play to larger audiences in every other city on tour.  He even listens (or pretends to listen) to our "Hey Seth!" thread.  Even though this ticket is expensive, I want to make this festival a success, so that it can become a permanent part of our yearly schedule.

If you break it down, its 6 bucks a band with an avg set time of an hour. Nobody else will ever say they saw The Who with Daltrey and Pete for that price. The rest of the days lineup is fairly strong as well. Here's hoping it works without any major hitches and gets better with every year. This could be a start of something huge for our area. Kudos to Seth and all involved for bringing it!!!

Edit: If the Who could be convinced to do)The Sell Out release in it's entirety as their set, it could be the crowning achievement of their post Keith careers. One can always dream ya know.
